January was a quiet month for travel. February will see me making a couple of trips to London. Next week I will be attending the Destinations and Holiday Show at Earls Court. February will also see big changes to the blog. After much thought and procrastination I have finally purchased the domain name. Next step upload everything and soon the blog will be known as midlifewanderlust1965.com (scary stuff)

The blog was busy last month, as it always feels at the end of the year. As far as travel plans for January it will be quiet. I have to pay for Christmas and dental work. (Ouch!) This does not mean I cannot plan for 2014 and I will be announcing my travel plans for 2014 shortly.

There was a increase in activity in the blog during November. I am feeling positive as I have been looking at travel options for 2014. I will hopefully reveal all during this month. Also December see us looking back at the past year and forward to the future. My posts will reflect this also. There will be no travel in December. After all Christmas does not pay for itself.

October was another quiet month for the blog. I suppose I was getting over the trip and I just needed the rest. It was good to take a break and work on myself. Been looking on a diet and started exercising. So far managed to lose 9lbs.

I am in the process of putting together more posts. November will also see me decide where my travels will take me in 2014.

I am 1

Yesterday, WordPress sent me a notification wishing me a happy blog anniversary. Happy Birthday to Midlifewanderlust1965, you have turned one. In truth I had forgotten about it thinking it was not due until May.

Still this should not stop me from feeling a little pleased with myself. I have managed to keep the blog going for twelve months without ever thinking about stopping. In that time I have managed to collect ninety five followers. I have also made three trip to Europe. They have made up a bulk of the posts on the blog.

Time goes by so quickly as it only seemed like yesterday since I made my first post. Now I want to the blog further forward. The next step is to purchase the domain name. I will have the flexibility to control and do more with the blog.

Finally I want to say thank you to everyone that has taken time out to view the blog in the last twelve months. I am truly grateful for your continued support.
